Desert Divers Skin Diver program
Desert Divers and Ocean Sports Skin Diver program takes your underwater adventures to new depths – literally! During your program you'll learn about the equipment, skill developement, the environment, problem management, and how to assess the local area. In addition, you’ll practice techniques of breath hold snorkeling, entering the water, checking your buoyancy, surface swimming, snorkel clearing. It'll also build your confidence in your snorkeling abilities and help you to explore the beauty of the aquatic realm. For ages 8 or older, the Desert Divers Skin Diver program includes a knowledge development portion as well as advanced snorkeling techniques such as surface dives, equalization and ascent techniques. Successful completion of the course results in certification. This exciting course may be taken in a swimming pool or the ocean or both!
